SPECIAL FOOD SERVICE OPERATIONS/ TEMPORARY EVENTS

FOR 2020 NCAA MEN'S FINAL FOUR !!!
Submit all organizer and vendor applications in their entirety at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the event or else the event will be subject to a penalty of double the final fee assessment. All fees are due when the application is submitted to the Fulton County Board of Health. Partial payments or applications will NOT be accepted.
The deadline to submit your NCAA Men’s Final Four Event Coordinator and Vendor packets is March 1, 2020.
The "Special Events Organizer Information Packet" contains:
- Special Event Organizer Application for Exemption Status
- Application for Permit to Operate A Special Food Service
- Application for Special Event Organizer Non-Food Permit
- Application for Special Event Food Service Vendor Certification
- Fee Schedule
- Booth Design Grid

Instructions for Existing Mobile Units:
- Update and submit "Route Sheet" to reflect the location of operation

Temporary Food Service Establishment (Special Events)
Any event that attracts 50 or more people and lasts for two (2) hours or more. Fulton County hosts more special events than any other county in the state. This program has been enhanced to address any health issues that may be present at events that are:
- Sponsored by a political subdivision of the state or by an organization exempt from taxes
- Lasts 120-hours or less
- Permitted by a municipality within Fulton County.
Requirements
Special Events organizers must have adequate provisions for the disposal of sewage and solid waste and have adequate drinking water available. If non-prepackaged food is served, a temporary food service permit must be secured for each temporary food service establishment. A “temporary” food service establishment is defined as one that operates at the same location for a period of no more than 14 consecutive days in conjunction with a single event or celebration. Environmental Health Services provides inspections and permits for these events; however, certain Special Events that are exempt from the requirements to be inspected and permitted.
